This Schoolhouse artwork is created by the wonderful artist Karen J Covey. Each print is from an original piece of art that was painted on a vintage cookbook cover. Using their worn and weathered texture as my guide, each piece was then reimagined into a modern piece of interpreted art. Up close, you can see the cover’s original detail, so tactile you’ll want to touch it. I love the texture of old cookbooks and they way they hold paint offers such depth and detail.
